Hello,
a stressy but succesful last week is over. The intermot in Cologne kept me busy. On the first two days of the week I was busy with the SUZUKI team with their press conference and the SUZUKI party, where I had to jump a show in the middle of the night in front of ecstatic dealers and VIPs.

The next two days the entire UPFORCE crew and me was busy doing four shows a day at the intermot. Thanks go out to the IVM for giving us the great chance to prove, that we can handle such a big and important show! Thursday evening I was guest at center.tv, one big regional TV station, to do some promotion for the upcoming IFMXF worldchampionships that were following on the weekend. On friday I had another TV appointment, but not before
EASTPAK had a surprise for the UPFORCE riders: we got presented our special edition team jackets, made from their own new range of casual gear! Thanks!!!

On saturday it was time for the IFMXF worldchampionship in the Kölnarena. For the first time it was broadcasted live on Eurosport. Smart as I am I decided to do well in front of my friends,
all the motorcycle industry, the japanese SUZUKI bosses and of course the big live audience in the stadium and behind the TV... and so I did! I finished 2nd in the qualification as well as in
the finals, rounding it up with a 3rd place in the whip contest! Not a bad comeback for an old man to the contest scene...

Now I am working on the big distance flip, during this week I have landed some more onto dirt on my practice compound. Hopefully the weather in Germany will stay decent for a little more, so I don’t have to travel to stay in shape for the next IFMXF rounds in Hamburg and Poland in November as well as for the Air & Style in Munich in december.
